He was a specialist in general medicine and one of the best physicians in the Cusco region. He built a clinic where he treated patients, from all over the region who were afflicted by many different aliments. His name was Ronald Payne and he had the rare virtue of a born physician who had come to cure the sick and attend to the suffering. Payne’s son’s arrived from England, where he had been studying medicine. The villagers had never seen pigs of that size and were amazed at the sight of them.Īfter some time, one of Thomas E.
